DELTA-LogoAmy Skyles, an Instructional Designer from Missouri S&T’s Educational Technology group, will be hosting a webinar through the Online Learning Consortium on Tuesday, February 10, at 1 p.m. (CST).

Amy will be discussing how DELTA labs are not just designed to reach a broader audience, they are designed to be as pedagogically sound as an on-campus course. Every course that is currently using DELTA labs has been analyzed individually and tailored to meet the specific outcomes for that particular course. DELTA labs are NOT simply simulations—they are real labs conducted in new and innovative ways to cover the key concepts students should be learning in the laboratory course.

Amy—as well as other members of the EdTech team—work closely with each faculty member to provide instructional design feedback and maximize the learning outcomes for a redesigned, online DELTA lab course.

Anyone interested in instructional design or laboratory redesign are invited to attend.
