The semester is almost halfway over, and if you’re a graduate student writing a thesis or dissertation, it’s time for you to sign up to iThenticate. iThenticate is a web-based service that analyzes your writing for similarity to other published sources. iThenticate can help you check the accuracy of your citations and quotations, avoid unintentional plagiarism, and even let you know when you need to do a better job of synthesizing or paraphrasing. iThenticate is available free of charge to all graduate students at Missouri S&T.
